Mauricio Coronado is a talented Assistant Director, born in Guadalajara, Mexico with a background from Vancouver Film School. He began his career in Mexico City, participating in local productions such as the film Menéndez. Alongside his work in film, Mauricio has built a career in commercials and has experience managing international teams in which he has worked with talented directors such as David Gordon Green, Patrick Daughters and Gia Coppola. He served as the Key 2nd Assistant Director in season 3 of Acapulco, and has contributed to high-profile international projects like Shotgun Wedding and NYAD. Fluent in English, French, Italian, and Spanish, his language skills and leadership have helped him thrive in the global film industry. He has a knack for an organised but calm set, trusting teamwork is the key to success.
