PRIVACY POLICY

Screen Masters International acts in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018. Our Information Commissioner’s Office Registration Number is: C1510013, and our Data Protection Officer is: Paul Arnold

The security of your personal information is of the utmost importance to us and we have set out below what data we will hold/or use and what rights you have in respect of that data.

Whether we are seeking engagements for you as talent, seeking to book an Artist for you as a hiring party or seeking to book or supply additional services from you or for you, we intend to act within the regulations set out in the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.

In all cases, we will collate and securely store the information we hold on you, this information includes (but is not limited to), name, address, telephone number(s) email address, date of birth, company registration (if any), VAT registration (if registered), ICO Registration Number (if registered), Public Liability Insurance (if insured), PAT information (if any), Passport details and bank account details. We will only pass the relevant information on to third parties in order to fulfil the contractual requirements. We will ensure, where possible, that these third parties act in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.

We will only hold your data for as long as it is deemed necessary, after which time it will be securely deleted.

Additionally, you are entitled to the right to be informed, the right to access, the right of rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object and the right not to be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling in regard to your data.

We confirm that any breach of security in the relation to your data will be reported to both you and the Information Commissioner’s Office with 72 hours of the breach.

We will not sell, trade, pass on or rent your information to any third party NOT connected to any trading between us.

EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION: According to the UK Equality Act (2010), it is illegal for people to discriminate, harass or victimise another person because they have, or are perceived to have any of the nine protected characteristics defined as; age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation. The Hirer must provide the Artiste with a working environment free of bullying, harassment, victimisation and unlawful discrimination, promoting dignity and respect for all, and where individual differences and the contributions of all are recognised and valued. 

 If there is evidence of the UK Equality Act (2010) being directly contravened with any act of bullying, harassment, victimisation and unlawful discrimination by the Hirer, employees or suppliers, including such acts taking place online, this will be considered a breach of contract and the Agency reserves the right to cancel the performance with immediate effect. In such circumstances, the Agency and the Artiste will not be financially liable to the Hirer or any other organisation for any losses associated with this performance.  

SAFETY AND SECURITY OF OUR CLIENTS

Adequate security arrangements must be in place for our talent provided by the hiring party at its own expense.

In the event of any occurrence or factor deemed to be a threat to the health and safety of the Artist, for example disruptive elements in the audience, the Artist may cease their performance until such threat has been satisfactorily dealt with and /or removed. If, following this in the reasonable opinion of the Artist and the hirer, all or any part of their performance cannot be performed without further risk to the Artist’s health or safety then the Artist may refrain from performing and notwithstanding the full fee will be due
