Maria Laura Sanapo

Maria Laura Sanapo was born in Castiglione del Lago in Italy. As a child she loved music and drawing superheroes and was used to copiyng illustration before learning to read and write. She studied foreign languages at the secondary school (she speaks English, German and Spanish) and she took a degree in languages at the University of Siena. After that, she decided to follow her real vocation attending two of three years of the International School of Comics in Florence

She worked for Dynamite and DC Comics, illustrating titles including Dc Bombshells, Wonder Woman, Batwoman, Vampirella, and Red Sonja. She also worked for Archie Comics , Titan Comics, Valiant and Zenescope

She teaches at the International School of Comics in Florence and at the Kubert School.
