Kim DeVenne is a successful screenwriter/producer from California. She owns HWY 101 Entertainment, which is focused on developing content for a global market. Connecting the world through diverse, emerging voices and stories.

Her writing is set all around the world including projects in Africa, the Dominican Republic, Belize, Ireland, the U.K. and U.S. The location and culture is as much a part of the story as the characters for Kim.

She specializes in true stories (sports, biopics, book adaptations), romance, rom/com, family, and coming-of-age.

Kim’s background was in teaching, with a Masters in Education from UCLA, including certification with a BCLAD (Bilingual-Spanish- Cross Cultural Language and Academic Development).  Kim also pursued her Special Ed teaching credential, completing the program, but pivoted into film where she has now made a name for herself.
