Heath Corson is an award-winning writer/creator working in television, film, comic books, video games and new media.

Heath has written 2 seasons of the TNT crime drama Animal Kingdom and was a writer on the television shows Scream, Critical Role, and Masters of the Universe.

In 2014, Heath rebooted the DC animated universe with Justice League: War, setting the tone for all subsequent animated DC films, including Batman: Assault on Arkham and the best-selling Aquaman-centric sequel Justice League: Throne of Atlantis. He has written for Batman Unlimited, Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry, multiple episodes of Justice League Action, as well as the Halo: Fall of Reach series, packaged exclusively with the video game Halo 5.

In comics, he's currently writing a creator-owned original book for Dark Horse about a supervillain raising his children in the family business. For DC, he wrote Nightwing/Magilla Gorilla as well as Blue & Gold, Detective Chimp, and the acclaimed miniseries Bizarro.

In his spare time Heath mentored a group of Northwestern grads in a bi-weekly peer group on the challenges of creativity. He also proudly donates his time to the United States Veterans’ Artists Alliance and teaches writing at the Reach Academy Summer session.

Heath co-hosted the long-running podcast The Writers Panel: Comics Edition appearing on Nerdist Podcast Network, an informal chat among professional genre writers about the process and business of creativity.

Heath is an absolute force in the creative space and will bring his dedication and tancity to any project.

Heath is currently collaborating with MGM with a show about his friend, a professor of the paranormal at UCLA and has just sold a musical podcast series to Spotify that he will write and executive produce. He is also recording a podcast with his 10-year-old niece about the Marvel Cinematic Universe called Me, You and the MCU.”
