Hal Laren is a comic artist, concept and 3d designer as well as Indy publisher running Reaper Comics, a small independent comic company.
Hal has also worked with FBFX and many prosthetics houses on work for TV, films and commercials. From Mute, and Star Trek: Discovery to Super Bowl commercials. Creating is his passion.
As a concept designer he is responsible for many household appliances and develops all media to create visuals for product manufacture.
As a publisher he has created 34 comics 3 graphic novels 2 art books, and around 80 covers for many comic publishers around the world: Image; Boom; Dynamite (Rom, Transformers, TMNT, G.I.JOE); Dynamite (Vampirella); Titan (Robotech) and Boom (Robocop). He has also created many of his own IPs writing, illustrating and publishing around the world.
For two years as a 2D & 3D graphic designer/developer for a high street toy manufacturer, he has created and designed new product lines, work patents, animations, 3D models, adverts, concept display stand packaging, and websites for designing and producing commercial sites including photography and video content.
Hal is a man with a passion for creating, developing, and building new things both conceptually and literally.

Hal has been hard at work on his third graphic novel while working on commercials. from Pepsi Superbowl to costume design work on Star Trek. His own IP comic book series’ BLOOD RED RAVEN is always a priority when not on other jobs. Hal is exploring the potential of evolving them from page to screen. Hal is normally hard at work on concepts for TV and Film and would love to make his IPs be realized in other media. Hal is often found at media conventions, he enjoys meeting and working with other artists across the globe.
Concept
Hal has worked on my films commercials and TV shows developing it 2d illustrations and animatics as well as building 3d elements for both production and animation.
