Doug Hardy has been in the industry for over 20 years and runs Firehouse Effects, an award-winning Cape Town based special effects company.

He prides himself in over delivering on budget.

With a background in fabrication of emergency service vehicles and gear as well as being a volunteer fire fighter he understands risk and is extremely safety conscious.

Covering Smoke, Wind, Fire, Rain, Storm, Earth, Air, Dust and Pyrotechnics in addition to Rigging, Stunt Rigging: Flying, Ratchets and Rams, High Falls, Car Cannons and Vehicle manipulation Doug can turn his hand to anything.
