Archie Jennings

Composer

Archie Jennings is a London-based Composer. Playing the guitar at the age of 11 kickstarted a passion for music that would lead to performances in bands across London.

By the age of 15, he had already performed in front of a packed Royal Festival Hall. As Archie’s musical interests developed at high school, he joined a Jazz Quartet led by Finn Genockey, which led to performances at many well-loved London venues.

Whilst studying Music, History and Technology at A-level, Archie’s passion turned towards composition. He wrote his first orchestral score at age 17 which secured him a place at the University of Surrey studying Creative Music Technology. At age 19 he began his career as a media composer, his first commission being a composition for the Lucy Bennet Dance Company.

Working in his recording studio, Archie found fascination in the creation and shaping of sound, which he studied in detail at University. It has led to work as a sound recordist on the set of Hugo Andre’s MAKEUP Archie has a passion for Orchestral and Synth scores and can bring feeling and integrity to every project.
